Mini Bee & Eucalyptus Hand-cut Papercut - Psalm 96

A little 7x5 inch papercut, featuring a tiny bee with eucalyptus leaves.

The artwork is hand-drawn with pencil and then each papercut is lovingly cut out by hand with a scalpel. I prefer to hand-cut each piece, making it individual and with character rather than using a machine; the process is meditative and reminds me of how God carves away at each of our lives individually to create something beautiful too.

This piece flows from my appreciation of nature and how it all speaks of the Creator. Psalm 96 says “Let the fields exult and all that is in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy before the LORD.” I always feel joy at the swaying of branches and leaves as they seem to sing their praise to Him.

The papercut makes a great little gift or would fit nicely into any little space in your home. It's cut from acid-free, environmentally friendly, 160gsm thick white paper. 

This listing is for it unframed, but it looks great framed in a floating frame, between two sheets of glass against a coloured wall. It also comes with a coloured, light fast, acid-free background sheet, if you prefer to frame it in a more traditional frame. There are a choice of background colours available. Feel free to contact me if you’d like a different colour. 

As every one is individually hand-made, there may be slight variations between them, making each piece unique and original.

The exact colour may look slightly different depending on the colour calibration of your monitor, but it should be pretty close!
