Full Description

These lovely organically shaped earrings are satisfying chunky yet light to wear. Dark amber (until the light shines through!) naturally tumbled sea glass gems (sisters not twins!) are combined with hand shaped 14k gold filled wires, simply looped through the glass to swing freely from hand made 14 gold filled earwires.

The shiny, contrasting crosses are gold plated onto silver. These earrings are inspired by the journey of sea glass through the ocean, especially the way it is briefly caught up on rocks or other barriers before eventually reaching the shore. Perhaps a parallel with our Christian lives...

All pieces are presented on a verse card in a sea themed cotton bag (pictured).
Length of earrings from top of earwire approx 4.4cms. Sea glass gems measures approx. 2.5 x 2cms.

Gold fill (or gold filled) refers to a process where carat gold is bonded to a base metal in a thick layer, which with care should last years. Gold filled items must contain, by law, 5% or 1/20 of gold by weight.

I never alter the shape or surface of the glass in any way; all the gems are naturally shaped by the action of the sea over many years, even decades, on all the many glass objects that find their way into the ocean, or are discarded there. I simply clean, carefully drill, and may finish the gems with a light rub with some oil to bring out the translucency.

All orders are carefully packed and usually despatched within two days, using Royal Mail first class post. Your jewellery comes beautifully presented with a bible verse card, a jewellery care guide and for sterling silver pieces, an anti-tarnish strip in a compostable bag for storage.

Sally's Returns Policy

Returns, cancellation & refunds. You are protected by UK legislation (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 & The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013). You have a number of rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or mis-described. In addition you have the right to cancel your order for any reason up to 14 days after receiving the item(s). You then have a further 14 days to return the item(s). If the return is due to a fault or mis-description then in addition to the cost of the item(s), the cost of your return postage (the cheapest available) will be paid by us. If it is due to a change of mind then you are responsible for the return postage. A refund will be issued within 14 days. No refunds can be made for earrings unless faulty as per UK regulations.
