A 148mm x 148mm card depicting key aspects of the story of Abraham.

From my "Grace" series, featuring images exploring well-known characters in Scripture, this card is a print from my original textile art.

This design is called "Journey Towards Stars".
This piece depicts Abraham’s story; his faith in God and God’s gift of grace to him throughout his life. The background represents the terrain of the Middle East and it shows the journey Abraham took. The four corners contain quadrants of the earth to echo the promise of God to Abraham that he would be the father of a multitude of nations. The swathes of stars and the sandy coloured backgrounds show God’s promise to Abraham; that his descendants would be “like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore.” The compass is a symbol of God and a reminder that like Abraham, God will journey with us throughout our lives when we rely on Him for direction.

It is blank inside, suitable for a variety of occasions, is printed on 300gsm card and is packaged in a compostable cellophane sealed bag.
