Meet the Maker

Hi I'm Kate. I live in Suffolk with my husband and our two girls and I've been a designer for almost 20 years (yes I really am that old). I have always loved hand lettering, which is where the dream of starting my own business began.

After a turbulent few years that included two very difficult pregnancies, a global pandemic, and postnatal anxiety, in 2021 Olive Leaf Design was born. It was very much a sign of hope for me on the other side of the storm, and that is where the name Olive Leaf Design came from.

In Genesis, we read the story of Noah. After months of being surrounded by floodwaters, the first sign of hope came when the dove returned with a freshly plucked olive leaf in its beak. Hope is an olive leaf — evidence of dry land after a flood, life returning to normal after a pandemic, or a beautiful baby born after a difficult pregnancy.

All of my designs are rooted in biblical truth and filled with the hope, joy, love, and life that we find in Jesus. They are created to encourage and strengthen faith, bringing comfort and inspiration through both seasons of joy and seasons of sorrow.

Olive Leaf Design Policies

Shipping Policy

All orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days unless otherwise stated on the product listing.

Orders will be dispatched via Royal Mail.

Standard Shipping is charged at £1.80 or FREE for orders over £5 and will be sent out Second Class. Express Shipping is charged at £3.50 and will be sent out First Class. Express Shipping does not guarantee next day delivery.

All items are packaged in recyclable, compostable or biodegradable packaging where possible.

Returns Policy

You have 28 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@oliveleafdesign.co.uk. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note you will be required to pay return postage.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned such as custom products (special orders or personalised items). We also cannot accept returns on sale items.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
