Hello, I’m Lynne, the creator behind Drawing Closer Cards.

I started Drawing Closer Cards in 2021 after sensing God gently drawing me towards something new. For many years I had loved being creative, but I wanted to use those gifts in a way that would encourage others in their faith and point people back to the hope found in His Word. What began as a quiet step of obedience has grown into a business that allows me to combine creativity with Scripture, creating cards and gifts that speak truth, bring comfort, and remind people that they are deeply loved by God.

Every design begins in my home studio in Nottinghamshire, where I personally illustrate, print, cut, package, and prepare each order by hand. Whether it’s a greeting card, a collection of Scripture cards, or a thoughtful gift, each product is created prayerfully and with the hope that it will encourage someone exactly when they need it most.

I believe that a simple card can become so much more than paper and ink. It can be a reminder of God’s faithfulness in difficult seasons, a celebration of His goodness in joyful moments, or a tangible expression of His love arriving through the letterbox. Knowing that my designs are helping people share the hope of Jesus with family, friends, and even strangers is one of the greatest joys of what I do.
