Silver Twig Cross Necklace

This design has been a joy to design and create! Jesus was a carpenter and the cross of crucifixion was made from wood. That was my inspiration behind the design of my unusual twig cross necklace.

Wanting to create a cross which incorporated these attributes of Jesus, I set about finding some twigs which were both straight and held a typical wood texture. As a woodland loving girl, I was happy to do a considerable amount of research!

Due to the way I handmake each cross, each one is slightly different and therefore unique. They are beautifully tactile and the texture each twig was moulded from is clearly visible from the front. The back is smooth with a highly polished finish.

The approximate (because each is an individual) size including the jump ring is 24-25mm long by 15mm wide and hangs on a sterling silver 18 inch chain.
