Full Description
This heartening homeware features a full colour hand illustrated design with the words "It is well with my soul" in white on a yellow background with a red, blue and green flower.
The tea towel is designed to be pretty, practical and sustainably produced. It’s made in the UK with 100% organic cotton (OEKO-TEX certified) and printed with water based pigment dyes.
It's packaged with a recycled kraft paper bellyband and sticker (both recyclable with household paper waste).
There's a hanging loop too, which I find particularly pleasing :-)
The tea towel size is approximately. 45 x 68cm and it's hemmed on all four sides.
The words on the front of the tea towel are from the hymn by Horatio Gates Spafford (1873) called “When Peace, Like a River”. He wrote them when going through deep suffering after great personal tragedy. They show his spirit wrought faith in Jesus holding him and it ultimately being well with his soul while in the midst of great sorrow. It helps remind us that we too are secure and that one day all will be made right and new. A truth that holds whatever season we are in joy, sorrow and everywhere in between.
This tea towel is a lovely reminder of this terrific truth each time you dry a dish. It would make a lovely addition to your home or as a gift for a celebration, hospitality, birthday, Christmas or to offer comfort or just because.
