The Lord is My Shepherd is one of the most comforting and encouraging psalms in the bible, offering comfort and encouragement. God our Shepherd walks with us, surrounds us and is our peace and protection.
I carefully select each bead and charm to act as aids in memorising the words of the psalm before making each bracelet by hand. Chosen for colour, shape, suitability and relevance, each one plays its part in visually conveying the truth held within the well-known verses.
From the silver plated sheep bead, the wood representing a staff and the green of a grassy pasture, this is a meaningful and wearable reminder of the provision we have in God our Shepherd.
The beads are glass or metal and the clasp and chain are silver plated metal. Adjustable from 17-22cm, it is presented in a deep purple organza bag with a printed card explaining the meaning behind each of the beads and charms.
A lovely gift for confirmation, baptism, dedication or christening as well as for birthdays. An encouraging, faith based or meaningful gift for her.
I use packaging which can be reused or recycled, so this handmade piece of jewellery will arrive in a lilac organza bag. It will be posted in cardboard packaging which can also be recycled.
The bracelet can be mailed to any UK address using Royal Mail second class postage.
