There is Much Joy Ahead is a statement of intent, born out of a difficult time. It encapsulates the belief that by being creative, finding community & connecting with others we can find true wellbeing.

After 20 years working in healthcare, I had reached a period of burn out and knew from my experience as an Occupational Therapist that I needed more unrushed creative time to allow my mind and body to slow and find rest and peace. I was learning to be present.
Graham my husband bought me a candle making kit & I found it really enjoyable.

The joy this has given me, the people I have met and the creativity it has allowed me to express, has been good for my soul. I have the privilege of running workshops and makers markets too which has been wonderful.

Our scents, designs and names all align to provide a feeling we
may wish for ourselves or to gift to others. Sometimes it can be hard to see through difficult times and we need those around us to hold onto hope for us.

Our candles are handpoured in small batches, by us at home in Nottinghamshire. We are most definately a family business with my husband Graham & daughters Anna & Lottie regularly getting involved - it’s a great way for us to connect with each other too.
