Hi, I'm Julie!
You're so welcome to my happy little corner of the world, where I run Oh Happy Day Studio. Oh Happy Day Studio is nestled along the beautiful Co. Down coast in Northern Ireland and I am so blessed to live here with my husband and children - my biggest cheerleaders and daily inspiration.
I have loved crafting for as long as I remember, inspired by my granny's passion for making, and my mum's wonderful creative spirit. The joy of making has remained with me ever since, and is woven into every piece I create.
The heart behind Oh Happy Day Studio is simple: to bring glory to God and joy and encouragement to your life.
I specialise in creating felt banners and flags that are designed to be displayed and treasured. I absolutely love creating them. Each one is a small piece of art, carefully made to add a personal touch to your space while serving as a daily reminder of God's love, faithfulness, and promises.
I work with 100% wool felt, a beautiful natural material known for its durability, warmth, and timeless appeal. Its soft texture and lasting quality make it the perfect choice for creating meaningful pieces that can be enjoyed for years to come.
When I'm not in the studio, I love gardening, running (albeit at a pace that could be generously described as ‘gentle’) and indulging in a creme egg or chocolate digestive with a large cup of tea. Balance is important!
