Anna designs and illustrates greeting cards, stationery and homeware using a blend of watercolour, digital illustrstion and hand lettering. Her signature style is fun and light hearted with a touch of class and elegance.

She is 40ish and lives in Belfast with her husband and four children.‎

And Hope Designs began with a small collection of hand-lettered greeting cards, created to satisfy a lifelong love of creativity. Before starting the business, I spent my youth exploring different creative pursuits, from making jewellery and journaling to running a wedding and portrait photography business.

In 2019, my family moved from England to Northern Ireland. While expecting our fourth child, I put photography on hold and began exploring watercolour painting and digital lettering. What started as a creative outlet soon became a collection of greeting card and art print designs.

After listing a few products on Etsy, one design featuring a quote by Corrie Ten Boom quickly became a bestseller. Encouraged by the response, I realised these designs could do more than fulfil a creative passion, they could help people share encouragement, hope and love with those who matter most.

As lockdowns arrived in 2020, greeting cards became a meaningful way for people to stay connected. What began as a small creative project grew into a thriving stationery and gift business.

Today, And Hope Designs offers a growing collection of joyful Christian cards, gifts and homeware. Every product is thoughtfully designed and made in the UK in small batches, with a focus on quality, sustainability and helping people celebrate, encourage and connect with one another.
