In Mark 14 we read of the woman who broke the Alabaster jar of expensive perfume over Jesus. Although the disciples who were there considered her actions wasteful, Jesus said she had done “a beautiful thing.” Her focus was on Jesus alone and, in an extravagant display of devotion to him, she poured out all she had. It was all for Jesus. This painting of the broken alabaster jar was deeply inspired by Mark 14 and a huge encouragement to us at Alabaster Armoury - to make sure all we do is for Jesus. We hope this little postcard serves as a reminder to give your all to Jesus, whatever you do, to hold nothing back as you live for him.
