How it's made

This Quiet Time Book has been thoughtfully designed from my experience as both a primary school teacher and a mum of 3. Each page has been carefully created to encourage children to engage with God's Word through tracing, reading, drawing and reflecting. The wipe-clean finish means little ones can enjoy the activities again and again, making it a resource that grows with them as they become more confident readers and writers.

The story and faith connection

This resource was inspired by the early learning activities I used throughout my teaching career and later with my own children at home. I saw how children thrive through repetition (hence the wipe-clean feature), hands-on learning and colourful illustrations, and I wanted to create something that would help them build those same learning habits while growing in their faith. In addition, I searched for a resource of this kind (particularly with a wipe-clean feature) and couldn't find any, as a result, I was inspired to create what I was looking for.

Rather than simply reading a Bible verse, this book encourages children to slow down and spend intentional time with God each day. As they trace each Scripture, look at the illustrations and respond creatively, they begin to hide God's Word in their hearts and develop a daily habit of meeting with Him.

My hope is that this book helps make quiet time simple, engaging and meaningful, laying the foundations for a lifelong relationship with Jesus.

As Psalm 119:11 reminds us, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." My prayer is that these simple daily moments in God's Word will help children know Him more deeply and carry His truth with them wherever they go.
